We leave Prague in early morning to visit the South Bohemia - an area to which everybody loves to return. The region offers monuments and natural beauty, everything that makes for a pleasant holiday. In South Bohemia there are more than 15 000 works of architecture; especially, castles, chateaux, monasteries and towns of immense artistic and historical value.
Our first stop will be at Hluboka chateau. This beautiful Neo-Gothic chateau - Natural Cultural Monument overlooks the river Vltava. It was founded in the 13th century in the Tudor Style. It´s sheltering rich collections of tapestries, woodcarvings, historical weapons, China pictures. A large English park surrounds it.
We continue to Ceske Budejovice – town which became famous; not only for its history, but for its world-known beer – Budweisser Budvar. Than after lunch, excursion in brewery and beer degustation . Rest of the afternoon we spend by visiting Holasovice village – UNESCO listed town where you will find the square surrounded by preserved farm estates in the rural baroque style.
We finish the day by walking tour through the Ceske Budejovice – historical metropolis of Southern Bohemia, founded by the King Premysl Otakar II. in 1265. You can admire one of the largest squares in Europe, replete with arcades, the Baroque Town Hall, the Bishop´s Palace, st. Nicolas Cathedral and the 72 m high Black Tower that offers a beautiful view of its surroundings.Dinner and overnight in Ceske Budejovice or close to Ceske Budejovice.

This day offers you to visit two UNESCO listed sites – Cesky Krumlov and spa town Trebon.
Cesky Krumlov - the urban, historical reservation, listed by Unesco and national cultural monument. Cesky Krumlov is considered to be the best-preserved Renaissance Town in Central Europe. The well-preserved medieval houses of its ancient downtown lie on one bank of the Vltava river, while its magnificient kastle; the second largest after Prague´s, dominates the other. The State Castle of Cesky Krumlov, with its architectural standard, cultural tradition, and expanse, ranks among the most important historic sights in the central European region. The Baroque castle gardens founded in the 17th century creates an integral, in fact the largest, part of the entire castle complex. It is situated on the rise and slope adjacent to the complex of castle buildings around the Courtyard of Cesky Krumlov Castle from the southwestern side. Lunch at Cesky Krumlov. We leave Cesky Krumlov and continue to Trebon.
Trebon - this spa town is located on the Golden Brook and derives its treatment from its surrounding peat marshes, which are very rich in minerals. You can see burgher´s houses from 16th-18th century, the Gothic Trebon Castle, monastery, church and the Baroque Brewery. We visit the Trebon Castle. You will have opportunity to visit the exhibition of Private Swarzenberg apartments from the end of the 19th century opened in 1996. This shows, by means of extensive documentation, the way of life of the last generations of the Hlubocko-Krumlovska branch of the Schwarzenbergs and starts with the stay of Duke Adolf Josef and his wife Ida, princess of Liechtenstein. There are also records about many other important persons of the House of Swarzenberg. Dinner, overnight in Trebon.

In the morning – we drive you to a small town Nova Bystrice from where your train will depart. The memory of the following part of your tour will stay in your mind for ever – we are sure. The small local train, running on the narrow rail way 760 mm, drive you through beautiful National protected landscape – called the Czech Canada, the area charming with its forests and pellucid rivers. Your joyride leads you to Jindrichuv Hradec.
After having lunch it follows a walking and visit to Jindrichuv Hradec chateau.The majestic complex of the castle and chateau buildings in Jindřichův Hradec, which was declared a national cultural monument in 1996, ranks among the Czech Republic’s largest heritage complexes. Than we drive to Konstantin Spa which indeed belongs among the most significant places of the Pilsen Region as the only spa town within this territory. A pearl imbedded in an attractive, quiet landscape, often untouched by civilization and replete full with springs of acidulous mineral water. The area boasts numerous historical sights and interesting places. The spa services are primarily focused above all on the treatment of the cardiovascular system.
We continue to Marianske Spa – one of the most charming spa places in Europe, splendid pearl surrounded by green forests rich in natural healing springs and one of the cultural centers of the West bohemian region. It is located in Preserved Landscape Kladska. It has 40 mineral springs right in the city beautiful parks, colonnades and spa hotels. From Marianske Lazne we drive to Tepla town where we visit the Premonstratensian monastery built in 1193, deacon´s church of st. Giles, burgher residences from the 18th century , plague column. Lunch.
We continue further to the west to Kynzvart Spa. In the wide valley on the South Slopes of the Slavkov Forest in the Middle of the Spa Triangle Karlovy Vary, Marianske Spa and Frantiskovy Spa is located Kynzvart Spa.
Kynžvart Spa is the most important place in the Czech Republic for the treatment of infant respiratory disease. The safe and attractive spa area is situated in the Slavkovský Forest in a place which receives a lot of sunshine thanks to its location above the fog in the valleys below. The dominant feature of the town away from the spa area is a renovated Renaissance chateau with large adjoining neighbouring park. Local history is full of magic and enchantment but the most important thing in Kynžvart Spa remains the happiness and health of the children who come here for treatment. The stimulus to found a spa here came from the local estate owner, Metternich, who was interested in the chemical composition of the local mud and mineral-rich springs.
Kynžvart chateau were listed to European UNESCO heritage sights. Lunch.
Another stop of today´s trip is - City Cheb the social, cultural and economical centre of the West Bohemia.
Only a few towns can show off with such rare landmarks. The Cheb castle protected by the Black Tower is one of the most beautiful Central European Roman landmarks. Behind the stone fortification, the stronghold hides a European rarity - rare two-floor Roman-Gothic chapel.
The town's symbol, Spalicek, which was built in the 13th Century, but also other preserved burgess houses create an unrepeatable atmosphere of the Cheb's square. Significance of the landmarks is evidenced also by the fact that the town's historical center was designated a town historical reservation.
We will finish this day in Karlovy Vary.

Walking in Karlovy Vary. It was founded around the Vridlo spring by the king Charles the IV. in 1358. Last stop ouf our trip will be Loket town – the urban historical reservation with dominating medieval castle, located in Slavkovsky forest protected natural landscape. First stop will be in Telc – together with Cesky Krumlov; Telc is the best-preserved ancient town protected by UNESCO. A wealth of pure Renaissance and Baroque buildings makes Telc one of the finest examples of medieval urban architecture. Walking, admission to the Telc chateau, lunch. The Telc Chateau ranks among the gems of Moravian Renaissance architecture. Its attractiveness is enhanced by the very sensitive approach of the owners to its heritage, thus the original interiors have been preserved in very good condition. Many of them are representative examples of the influence of Italian art on our territory and of its variations in the area north of the Alps.
We continue to Brno - the second largest city in the Czech Republic. Brno is an important industrial and business centre, thanks particularly to the Brno Exhibition Centre which hosts a number of significant international shows and exhibitions annually. The St. Peter and Paul cathedral is the Bishop´s seat and forms part of the city charming panorama. Spilberk, a Royal castle from 13th century, also enriches the city´s panorama. Until 1863, Spilberk was used as a jail, but it later became a fortress in the 17th and 18th centuries. The castle has been designated a national cultural monument. After breakfast we will take you to the Slavkov chateau and the area where the biggest battle of Napoleon Wars took place – „Battle of 3 Emperors“, and the Monument of the battle at Prace. Slavkov chateau – built in the Baroque style in 1700, this chateau houses paintings, a library and mementoes of the Napoleon wars. Slavkov is best known for the battle of 1805 in which Napoleon defeated the combined armies of the Russian and the Austrian emperor.
Back to Brno, lunch. In the afternoon - walking through historical heart of Brno town with the guide. In the evening – we invite you to visit to some of local picturesque wine cellar. Wine degustation with sommelier, dinner. Overnight in Brno or close to Brno.

After early breakfast we leave Brno in direction to Kromeriz – a town extremely rich in historical monuments. Kromeriz is situated in the fertile Hana lowlands. The town was founded in the 11th century. The most outstanding building is the large Baroque chateau, built on the site of an earlier Gothic castle.
The Archiepiscopal Chateau is dominant of the city and is the most popular visitor attraction of the historic grounds, which also includes two surrounding gardens. The chateau and gardens were added to the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 1998.
For most of its history, the chateau served as the summer residence of the Olomouc Archbishops.
Kromeriz chateau has the rich interior equipment – halls, library, archepiscopal picture gallery and gardens. Lunch in Kromeriz.
In the afternoon we will visit Protected Lanscape Area - Moravian Karst – the large teritory of ravines and stalagmite caves which is a popular touristspot. The best-known and the most impressive formations are the Macocha abyss and the Macocha cave; a labyrinth of underground passages created by the river Punkva. The electric train will take you to entry to the Punkva caves from where your magic Punkva river cruise starts. Dinner, overnight in Blansko.
Day 4 – 240 km / guided programme 10 hours

Departure from Blansko to Litomysl – a site world-famous with Bedrich Smetana family home and Bedrich Smetana Litomysl Music Festival.
We will visit the originally renaissance castle of the Italian type which was very popular in 18th century in the Central Europe. Farm buildings surrounding the castle are mostly built in the baroque style. Chateau exposition located in representative halls hostes collections of Empire furniture from the 19th century and a lot of pictures mainly from the 18th century for instance Maria Theresia and Josef II. In the area of the chateau you will also visit baroque theatre and the birthroom of composer Bedrich Smetana.
History lovers and artconnoisseurs will surely be tempted to see this jewel of Czech Renaissance architecture, historical town preserve and chateau in Litomysl which has been listed in the UNESCO inventory of protected monuments since 1996. Lunch, return to Prague where your tour ends in the late afternoon.
